Tune in with The Jazz Exchange and KTEP 88.5 FM for Morning Jazz: A Jazz Exchange & KTEP Series, a special fall series celebrating the musicians, educators, artists, and stories that make up the vibrant Borderland jazz community.
Hosted by Candice Reyes, the series airs twice a month on Fridays from 10:00 AM–12:00 PM, September through December 2026. Each broadcast features Candice's curated playlist of songs for the first hour, and the second hour is an in-depth conversation with local and regional musicians, along with music, jazz history, and stories that connect the Borderland’s rich musical culture to the broader history of jazz. From performers and educators to bandleaders, composers, and community leaders, Morning Jazz shines a light on the people who continue to create, teach, perform, and build community through music.
