Building Communities Through Live Music
Dear supporters and jazz community,
Our mission is building communities through live music, amid the growing concerns of the COVID-19 spread we have decided to postpone future secret shows at this time. The safety and health of our jazz artists, team members, audience members, and partners are to ensure the well-being and safety of everyones health. With the guidance and resources of our health officials we will reschedule any upcoming events until it is safe to do so. We hope that everyone is taking the right safety measures of being informed and staying indoors.
We understand that COVID-19 Coronavirus has affected many people in different ways. One of many being our jazz artists who have been affected drastically. Cancellations of their performances, tours, teaching gigs has caused a major problem for our jazz community. A lot of our full-time and part-time jazz artists rely on this source of income to pay the essentials such as rent, groceries, bills and more. We also know that our jazz artists do not receive the same benefits as a part-time employee who will qualify for paid sick leave or health insurance and more.
The Jazz Exchange feels obligated to supporting our jazz artist and the community by taking action. We have created a gofundme page called The Jazz Exchange Relief Fund to raise funds to our full-time/part-time jazz artist who are in most need and seriously affected by this worldwide pandemic. We are asking all our supporters and followers to please considering donating to The Jazz Exchange Relief Fund with a suggested donation of $50.00 or more. The more funds we can raise the more aid we can offer our jazz artists who are in most depend at this time.
Jazz artists can fill out the application, our team will then select the jazz artists who are in dire need of financial support. Once our team selects an applicant we will contact you and discuss and ask several questions regarding your situation.
We would like to thank each and everyone one of you for your continued support during these unprecedented times. Jazz artists we want you to know that we will continue to support each and everyone one of you. We also want to thank those who continue to work in the front lines to make sure our safety and health are first.
Building communities virtually and musically,
