The Jazz Exchange Academy Program October 2023 - June 2024 Full Year Tuition - $1230.00 Term - Annual 29 Weeks Discover the timeless music of jazz legends like Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Charles Mingus, and many others. In these ensembles, you'll develop your jazz phrasing and improvisation skills, with a focus on playing in a section. You'll get to play complex arrangements and pieces by iconic jazz composers, offering a challenging and enriching experience. (This course is at an advanced level, this ensemble will be performing throughout the year.) To Register for The Jazz Exchange Big Band you will be required to pay the following fees that are non-refundable or non-exchangeable: - Registration Fee $30.00 - Deposit $200.00 (to be applied to the registrant’s tuition upon placement) - Remaining balance will be due upon placement. The Jazz Exchange will contact parents for balance due or payment plan options. --------------------------------------------------------------- Advanced - The Jazz Exchange Youth Big Band - Wednesdays 7:30pm -9:00pm Students must have 1 year Big Band experience to participate - Required **IMPORTANT: Following the audition review period, students will receive an email with their placement, class date, and class times.
